COMMUNITY POLICING IN THE 21st CENTURY

Purpose: Safe neighborhoods are more likely to exist when community members work together to co-design public safety policies, policing strategies, and systems that are responsive to their unique needs and aspirations.

Project Description:
• Imagine what we can do together if we focus our energies on building efficient and effective systems that protect and serve, that honor the lives of law enforcement professionals and the dignity of every member of community.
• Imagine spaces where all individuals feel a sense of ownership, knowing that their safety and security are the result of mutual investment and respect.
• Imagine a sense of generosity and guardianship at the heart of every interaction between law enforcement and the public.
