Scott Henry Recipient of Jerry Loudon Lifetime Achievement Award

Scott Henry, Chief of Police and Director of the Mansfield Police Academy at Mansfield University, was recently recognized by the Pennsylvania Crime Prevention Officer Association with their prestigious Jerry Loudon Lifetime Achievement Award.

Now in his 37th year of public service, Scott started his law enforcement service with the Williamsport Bureau of Police. He has served a full career as a Pennsylvania State Trooper including his role as a Community Service Trooper, has held the position of Chief County Detective with the Tioga County DA’s Office, Safe School instructor, and PCCD Instructor.

Recently named President of the Emergency Response Training and Certification Association (ERTCA), Scott has been instrumental in creating the new Erick J. Coolidge Center for Public Safety Training, Education and Innovation on the site of the former State Police Barracks near Mansfield. Scott is also on the Advisory Board and founding member of the Pennsylvania Community Safety Alliance, which was launched by PCPOA.
